The old player jag and jazzmaster were cool but had the crappy vintage style bridge which would vibrate itself apart. Glad to see they’ve updated these and I’ll consider grabbing one if I get my hands on one and like it enough.

My Telecaster bass sounds amazing with the mud bucker and the low and high mids pushed up and played with a pick. The sound is so full and even but still cuts through the mix of two really loud guitars.

Sounds great, as does the player ii jaguar. A distilled and focused design, great color, nice pickups, descent price point as well . Doesn’t come with a gigbag but the fender ‘luxury gigbags’ offer about as much protection as the secret service so that’s no loss…

There is a buzz. Is that because of new strings?

I’m am torn right now between the Sire V5 with roasted maple neck and the Fender Player ii jazz! I think it’s a dead heat, the only tip to Fender is if you ever want to trade or sell it you’ll get more for the Fender than Sire! I have a Sire V5 5 string with roasted maple neck and it is impressive for the price! One last thing the Sire pickups are somewhat lower output but some amp tweaking covers that.

A 10-hole pickguard is a curious feature for a '66 P bass.

I like the bigger GO/x18 body as well, especially the 12 strings. They fill the room with their tone. You guys had a 458 there a few years ago that was pretty sweet. Are the GO/x18 and the GS/x16 not part of the standard Taylor line anymore?

Appreciate U putting the bass thru different sonic outputs & styles of playing. Two points: 1) The bridge: Easy intonation ? Intonation stability ? 2) Pots: Does each pot have a 1/2 way middle home point of reference ? Pots made out of plastic or metal ? Note: I do like the bass I viewed on this video.

To each their own .. but I’d rather apply the extra money on my $10,000 Gibson custom shop towards better options and woods (such as 1 piece 5A top) .. you can get a dope 1959 spect with top grade woods, including Brazilian fretboard for the same price

Some pretty Taylor's with the dark woods. I really like that Timber line from Fender, that Telly was beautiful with the color.

Hi, Joe. While I enjoyed the demo, I don't think I heard what you heard. I have a Pro1 (2018) and the new roasted pine version of the Pro2 (2023). If there is any difference, it's very subtle. The big selling point should probably be the neck, which is a little fuller on the Pro2. I can enjoy either one. And I'm finding no use for the push-push additional tones. But I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Strats. So there's that. Thanks for your time. Don

So beautiful. I have a ‘93 tele in this finish. Have added a black engraved guard. Over the last 31 years the nitro has yellowed to its kind of silver, gold, in between now. Still beautiful.

Tweaking a lock down is a pain in the arse..

I hear a lot of frets buzz … like it wasn’t set up Properly 😮. Beautiful beast , great playing but was super disappointed with the sound. Maybe I need to have one in my hand….
